1. About these terms
These Terms of Use describe your use of Cruvy and its informational website. Cruvy is provided by Shandong Wumeiyan Culture Media Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Cruvy, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you cannot agree, do not use the app.
Your App Store license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless a valid custom license is supplied with the app. These terms supplement that license with product-specific information; they do not replace mandatory legal protections or override the applicable App Store license.
2. What Cruvy provides
Cruvy is a personal cruise planning and journaling tool for iPhone. Its current features include voyage planning, daily activities, packing lists, photo journals and drafts, image-card sharing, and local backup export and restore.
Cruvy is not a travel agent, booking platform, cruise operator, navigation tool, or emergency service. It does not supply live ship schedules, onboard reservations, or official travel advice. Plans, places, and times you enter are your own records.
Always verify boarding times, itinerary changes, travel requirements, and the ship’s current local time with the relevant operator or authority.
3. Using the app responsibly
Use Cruvy lawfully and only with content you have the right to use. Do not use the app or website to infringe others’ rights, distribute unlawful material, interfere with another person’s device, or attempt to compromise the website’s operation.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for reviewing the content and destination before sharing or exporting. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms independently, use the app with a parent or guardian’s permission where required.
4. Your content and our materials
You retain your rights to the text, photos, and other content you add. Cruvy processes that content locally to perform the features you request. Adding content to the app does not transfer ownership to us or grant us a right to publish your journal.
The app, its code, design, branding, and supplied materials remain owned by their respective rights holders. Your permission to use the app is subject to the applicable license and law.
Built-in scenic covers are AI-generated. The sample voyage is fictional and read-only, and is excluded from your personal library and backups. Example travel details and screenshots are illustrative, not an endorsement of or affiliation with a cruise operator.
5. Local storage and backups
Cruvy stores your library on your device and does not provide its own cloud synchronization or server-based recovery. Keep a backup if your records matter to you, especially before deleting the app, replacing your device, or restoring another library.
Backup files include your writing and photos and are not password protected. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate storage location and safeguarding copies you export.
Restoring a backup replaces the current local library after confirmation. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading it may preserve data. Shared files, original photos, and device or cloud backups are managed separately through their respective services.
6. Apple and other services
Apple’s App Store, Photos, device backup services, and any Files or sharing destination you select operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Internet access may be needed for those services even though Cruvy’s planning and journaling features work offline.
The current app does not include subscriptions or in-app purchases. Any price for obtaining the app is shown by the App Store. App Store billing and refund requests are handled through Apple under its applicable terms and your statutory rights.
7. Availability and updates
We may update the app to improve functionality, address issues, or maintain compatibility. Features can depend on your device, iOS version, and permissions. We do not promise compatibility with every future device or operating-system version, uninterrupted availability, or indefinite support.
We aim to provide a useful app, but cannot guarantee that every error or interruption will be prevented. Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
8. Responsibility and legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, Cruvy is provided as available, without additional promises beyond those expressly made in the applicable license or required by law. You should not rely on a personal plan in Cruvy as confirmation of a booking, a live schedule, or an official instruction.
Responsibility for loss or damage is subject to applicable law and the governing app license. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Ending use and changes
You can stop using Cruvy at any time. Export any records you want to keep before deleting the app. There is no Cruvy account or recurring subscription to cancel.
We may revise these terms as the product changes. We will update the effective date and provide any additional notice required by law. Changes do not remove rights you already have under mandatory law.
